Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CreditIQ AI collects, why, and your choices. CreditIQ AI is operated by CreditIQ AI, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 165, Austin, TX 78731 ("we," "us").

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form), and whether you use CreditIQ AI for yourself or for a business.
• Credit information you provide: credit reports you upload, account details you enter or confirm, your descriptions of what is wrong, and the dispute letters created for you.
• Documents: files you or your credit specialist upload, such as photo ID, proof of address, statements, and letters from credit bureaus.
• Agreements: for business clients, the signed service agreement and related records, processed through our e-signature provider.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe or Authorize.net. We receive confirmation of payment and a customer reference, not your full card number.
• Voice conversations: if you use the optional voice guide, your voice and the conversation are processed, transcribed and may be recorded by our voice provider (ElevenLabs) to answer you and improve the service. You are told this before you start. Do not share Social Security, card or account numbers.
• Usage information: basic, privacy-friendly analytics on our public pages (such as page views) to understand how the site is used. We do not use analytics on pages that show your credit file.

2. How we use information

• To provide the service: reading reports you upload, running the red flag scan, drafting letters, tracking responses, and storing your documents.
• To process payments, provide support, and send service messages such as confirmations and password resets.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run CreditIQ AI, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Supabase (database, file storage, and sign-in) and Vercel (website hosting and page analytics)
• Anthropic (AI that reads uploaded reports and drafts letters). Content is sent to Anthropic's API only to produce your results, under its commercial terms.
• ElevenLabs (the optional voice guide on our public pages)
• Stripe and Authorize.net (payments) and Anvil (electronic signatures)

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

4. Business accounts and their clients

When a credit business uses CreditIQ AI for its clients, that business decides what client information to collect and how to use it, and is responsible for its own notices and legal obligations. We process that information on the business's behalf to provide the service. If you are a client of a business, contact that business first about your information.

5. Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited so that each account, or each business's team, can see only its own files, and actions on each file are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your files and personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet legal, tax, or dispute obligations.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, download, or delete your information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

8. Children

CreditIQ AI is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the app.
